are these synonyms?

FWIW, I believe that DBCC REINDEX is an editorial error and that only DBCC
DBREINDEX actually exists.

There is no command DBCC REINDEX in SQL Server. But there is DBCC
INDEXDEFRAG and DBCC DBREINDEX.
