"Hit Highlighting" on SQL Server 2005

What is the best way to do "Hit Highlighting" on SQL Server 2005 with full
text search?

Based on my experience, 'hit highlighting' is an application problem, which
should be done in the UI. The SQL platform can provide a tokenization
mechanism (through word breakers), or a stored procedure that returns
offsets of words based on query, but this is not part of SQL 2005.
